HA.GO 08.02: THE PANTANAL OF THE NORTHERN MATO GROSSO, CUIABA

DAY 01: Departure from Asuncion at 7.00 a.m. Route: Asuncion - Cnel.Oviedo - Yby Yau - Pedro Juan Caballero - Ponta Pora. Lodging in the hotel. Rest of the day at Your disposal. Distance: 590 kms.
DAY 02: Breakfast in the hotel. Departure at 7.00 a.m. Route: Vista Alegre-Guia Lopez da Laguna- Bonito.
Bonito is a town in the center of the limestone meseta of the Serra de Bodoquena which is part of the mesetas which border tha Panatanal. The whole region is well prepared to show the visitors the marvellous ecological environment like the stalactite cave "Cave of the Blue Lake"( with crystalline lake at 90 meteres below the entrance level), the open-air bath, and the Ecological Park "Bahia Bonita" with special programs of adventure- and fishing tours on the tributary rivers of the Formoso River. After our arrival at Bonito we immediately visit the Stalactite Cave of the Blue Lake distant at 21 kms from the center of the town and continue with the Ecologic Park Bahia Bonita with its natural aquarium. Then we leave the meseta to reach Aquidauana where we stay in the hotel. Distance: 455 kms.
DAY 03: After the breakfast we continue our route: Aquidauana - Rio Verde de Mato Grosso - Rondonopolis - Cuiaba. Lodging in the hotel. Distance: 746 kms.
DAY 04: After breakfast early in the morning we leave Cuiaba to get the "Transpantanera Road"(120 bridges on only 145 kms with a lot of posibilities to observe nature) to Pocone and at last Porto Jofre. Possibilities of excursions by boat or fishing tours. Lodging in the hotel. Distance: 300 kms.
DAY 05: Morning at your disposal for optional excursions. After lunch we return to Cuiaba and visit the natural park da Chapada dos Guimarâes. Concluded the visit we continue to Rondonopolis wher we stay the night in the hotel. Distance: 500 kms.
DAY 06: Breakfast and return via Campo Grande to Ponta Pora. Lodging in the hotel. Distance: 820 kms.
DIA 07: After breakfast we get the route Pedro Juan Caballero - Yby Yau - Cnel. Oviedo - Asuncion. Distance: 580 kms.

RECORRIDO TOTAL: 3.981 Kms.

Remark: In case of heavy rainfalls in the Pantanal it might be possible to change no paved road by asphalted ones as well as planned lodging places have to be modified.

Church of Yaguarón

HA.GO 06.01: CENTRAL CIRCUIT, WITH OVERNIGHT STAY

DAY 01: We will be able to see: the neo-gothic church in San Lorenzo, handicrafts of Ita, the franciscan temple at Yaguaron, the cordilleran sights with its crystalline brooks of Paraguari and Piribebuy. Here we will go to a farm for lodging. In the afternoon you can take a horseride, and if weather allows, go for a swimm in the crystal clear brook that crosses the farm or help to milk the the cows and feed the animals. In the night the foreman will serve us a delicious ASADO.
DAY 02: After our countrystyle breakfast, we leave the farm to visit the spiritual capital of Caacupe with its basilica and the picturesque road to Tobati are part of this trip. We will make a brief stop at San Bernardino on the shore of the legendary Ypacarai Lake. On our way back we will see the Ñanduti and Aho-poi crafts. Return to Asuncion.
NOTA: During this trip you will have the opportunity to see without hurry the beauties that offer this Tour. Lodging will be in a typical home, rustic but with all the necessary comfort.

HA.GO 07.01: SOME DAYS ON THE COUNTRY, PIRIBEBUY WITH TWO NIGHTS

DAY 01: In the morning, we leave Asuncion. The way offers stops at the mythological museum of Capiata, the Ñanduti tissues in Itaugua, and the basilica at Caacupe. Before noon, we will arrive to the heroic city of Piribebuy; after a brief tour and we finally leave for a farm distant 4 kms from the city, welcome toast and lodging in one of the simple but comfortable houses (the houses are of 2 and 3 spacious rooms equipped with corresponding beds, WC, tables, and mosquito nets, each house has a complete bathroom and kitchen). In the afternoon, small tour around the farm and explaining. At night, dinner (an asado under the moonlight).
DAY 02: Breakfast at the time desired, (the passenger can wake up early and participate in the foreman's activities, or stay in bed and rest as long as he wants). On these day you can participate in the daily activities (milk the cows, collect eggs, feed the cattle, etc.). Apart from the animals named above, you will also observe ducks, goose, turkeys, ornamental chicken, guineas, sheep, pigs, and other domestic animals. Wild birds are all around, and if you wish, you may go on a horse ride. During summer, you may take with You Your swimming clothes, as a crystal-clear brook with many small waterfalls runs trough the farm in an extension of 600 meters. there will be time for baths in the brook or a trip to the 2 kilometers distant AMAMBAY WATERFALL is recommended. At night, dinner.
DAY 3: Breakfast and activities not completed the day before. MEDIA MAÑANA and at noon we leave for Asuncion, with a previous lunch in a Restaurant of Piribebuy.
NOTES - The trip can be extended for the number of days desired (see extra day).

* Room cleaning will be done by the passenger, except the explicit request of the passenger.
* Drinks can be brought by the passengers, or can be consumed from the freezers and paid when the stay ends, in this case, please indicate preferences.

HA.GO 06.02: GREAT TRIANGLE, YGUAZU AND REDUCTIONS, 3 DAYS

DAY 01: Early in the morning we will leave Asuncion to travel the ASUNCION-ENCARNACION highway. On the way, we will visit the FRANCISCAN CHURCH OF YAGUARON with its marvellos crafts made by aborigenes carving native woods. In VILLA FLORIDA, a summer resort and fishing village on the Tebycuary River, we will make a brief stop, then continue trip to SAN IGNACIO and the Museum of the First Jesuit Reduction. Lunch and on the way again to ENCARNACION; there a brief citysightseeing with a spectacular view on the SAN ROQUE GONZALEZ BRIDGE, which unifies ENCARNACION (Paraguay) with POSADAS (Argentina). Then we arrive to the hotel, check in, and night at Your disposal.
DAY 02: Breakfast and visit to the JESUS and TRINIDAD ruins and the colonies of HOHENAU and OBLIGADO. Before noon we continue our trip along the highway Nr 6, which has beautiful views, until reaching CIUDAD DEL ESTE. Before we cross to FOZ DE IGUAZU, we will visit the ITAIPU HYDROELECTRIC PLANT . Crossing the FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE and lodging at Hotel CARIMA (BRISTON Hoteleria) or similar in FOZ DE IGUAZU.
DAY 03: Breakfast (included) and visit to the YGUAZU NATIONAL PARK where we will spend the morning admiring the IMPOSING 8th MARVEL OF THE WORLD, the YGUAZU FALLS. On the way to the waterfalls we can visit the BIRD PARK and participate on the MACUCO SAFARI on the Yguazu river. After lunch we will return to Asuncion.
